We are into the 5th year of hosting Dhruv, and this year the theme for the competition is” Amazon”. Amazon is a world in itself. Amazonia is a huge and very complex place where nature created a unique set of biological and geological cycles, hardly seen in other places, and where mankind developed different cultures, languages, and art. The mysteries and awe around the Amazon jungle is something we should know and need to protect. This is our attempt to honour the culture and traditions of the tribes and spread awareness about this diverse biosystem.
PUMBA organizes Dhruv every year in January where all
B-Schools from across India indulge themselves into a wide array
of Cultural, Sports and Management events, for personal glory
and that of their Institute. A platform to showcase talent,
Dhruv has seen participation from over 150 B Schools over the
last four years.
The inseparable part of Dhruv has been a central theme around
which all events have been portrayed. If in Dhruv ’08 it was
partnering with one of his oldest friend ‘The Genie’ to explore
the world of cartoons, then in Dhruv ’09 theme for the event was
Astrology, where Dhruv visited his other astronomical friends
viz. the zodiacs, other stars and planets, etc. who decided our
destiny.
