Qhatu Pata (Markatti)

The merchant tribes have travelled wide and far

 And brought back treasures from places afar
 If you want that treasure yours to be
 Then Qhatu pata is the place to be

The item is yours if you bid for the price right
All you got to do is to get the items in sight
But be careful and watch your back
Your own tribesmen may push you off the track.

Rules:

 

1) A team of four -Maximum 2 teams per college are allowed

2) Other rules will be announced on the spot.

 

Miskipuru Maqunaku (LAN Games)

 The battle of ‘miskipuru maqunaku’ is raging. Tribes gather here together, join forces and fight each other forming a network. Sometimes having to fight the members of their own tribe. The winner takes home the spoils and the most coveted position of the Shaman- the Tribe leader.

 

Rules:

 

1) Each college will send 2 teams of 5 members each, competing over 3 games viz.

     -NFS
     -FIFA
     -CS 1.6

2) The registration will be on first come first basis.

3) Other rules will be explained on the spot.

 

The Trial of Ragabash (Biz Quiz)

The Trial of Ragabash (Biz Quiz) On the auspice of Dhruv, tribes will face the Trial of Ragabash- the questioner of ways, who will test them on their on their intelligence and their knowledge of tricks of the trade.

 

Rules:

 

Round 1) Elimination round for selecting 6 teams

Round 2) (Finals): 6 teams, 2 members per team -Any number of entries allowed (however 2 best teams per college will make it to the final).

 

Huorani Kuraka(Best Manager)

The Huorani tribes have to face the wrath of the nature from time to time. They need a Kuraka- a leader who can take them through all these trying times unscathed. He who can manage the scanty resources in these times and keep people safe will only be titled ‘Huorani Kuraka’.

 

Rules:

 

1) Two rounds will be conducted.
2) First round would be based on solving a case study. Participants are required to solve the caselet (provided as an  
    annexure) and submit a soft copy of the solved case study in not more than two A4 size sheets at 
    dhruv.pumba@gmail.com
3) Second round will be a presentation round based on a case study.

 

Note:

a) This is an individual event.
b) Only one entry per college shall be allowed.

 

Yacatecutli’s Stratagem (Biz Plan)

Territories need to be expanded, trade to be taken to new places. The best minds of the tribes have to sit and hatch out a strategic plan. A plan that is so perfect that it is as if the merchant god- Yacatecutli made it himself.

 

Guidelines

 

The participants are requested to get their business plan for approval beforehand, by contacting the event co-ordinator Mr. Dinesh Dubey -09987070550. The soft copy of the plan with the subject stating a business plan, name of the participant is to be mailed at dhruv.pumba@gmail.com on or before 7th January 2010. The participants are expected to submit a business plan in the following format: a) Font: Verdana b) Font Size: 10 c) Maximum 5000 words Selected teams shall be informed on 9th January 2010.

 

Rules

 

1) Maximum 4 members in a team (any number of entries allowed).

2) The decision of the judges will be final and binding.

3) Only one team per college is allowed.

4) The soft copy of the presentation is required to be submitted 15 minutes before the event.

 

Qatira (Ad Zap)

You are here to trade, but it is not going to be so simple because this is war and everything is fair. The competition is imperfect and it is going to take all your advertising skills to please the buyer. So start preparing your Qatiras- your commercial ads to lure the buyer to your product.

 

Rules:

 

1) Two elimination rounds will be conducted.

2) First round will have questions related to the advertising world.

3) Second round will be based on identification/inter-relation of logos and making a jingle.

 

Games of Theurge (Management Games)

Theurge, the auspice of the crescent moon has challenged the brightest of the tribes to a series of games to prove their power of thought and take them a step closer to the Qeru- the ultimate Trophy.

 

Rules:

 

1) Maximum 2 teams per college (Entries on first come first basis).

2) 5 members per team.

3) Judge’s decision will be final and binding.

4) Basic rules for each game would be told on the spot.

 

Ranqhana Wasi (Fortune 500)

In the Amazon, merchants are ambassadors in their dealings with other groups spreading the word of their tribe to the world. The travelling merchants have a task upon them to travel far and wide to set up shop in other lands and bring home profits for the benefit of their people.

 

Rules:

 

1) Team of 4 from every college.

2) Atleast one girl in every team.

3) Shortlisting will be done on first come first serve basis.

4) First 8 teams will be selected.

5) Other rules will be declared on the spot.
