Roles and Responsibilities
With dreams in our mind and passion in our veins, the ‘Entrepreneurship Development cell’ at Department of management sciences, (SPPU) Pumba, Pune, is always enthusiast to motivate students by carrying out various entrepreneurial activities and events. The prime focus of this cell is to develop a sustained platform that supports students of PUMBA in starting up; showcasing their skill and structuring their thoughts in the less explored field of entrepreneurship & thereby realizing their ideas and converting them to reality. The year brought different new events and innovative ideas with it.
THE GAME OF PERSPECTIVES is an event which focuses on imbibing principles of business into students through case study competition. It focuses on developing mindset and skillset and understanding toolset which are key principle of every business start-up and MBA students.
E-DAY (Entrepreneurship Day) is an inter-division competition which tests the student’s abilities as to how they can be better entrepreneurs of tomorrow. The aspiring entrepreneurs from 1 st year pitch their one-day business ideas’ to the 2 nd year students (investors) through elevator pitch and obtain funds for executing their ideas. EMBARK is biannual magazine which include articles from students and faculty members of PUMBA.
Also, it provides short and crispy interviews by leading entrepreneur from industry explaining their journey.
we also organise THE START-UP TALK, where entrepreneurs from various fields guide the students of PUMBA for their Entrepreneurial journey.
