Seminar Cell, the face of PUMBA, renowned for it’s proliferate entrepreneurship platform, strives to stage forth brilliant minds whose ancillary words would develop and rouse iconic personalities. We envision the subtle transformation from an impresario to a leader, an entrepreneur. The words of beacon are channeled through a series of seminars, workshops and guest lectures wherein one learns to adapt to the brunt of the changing economic world in response to the growing challenges of a globalized world.
The Seminar Cell organizes and conducts events such as the National Seminar, Corporate Ensemble, Achievers, HR Rendezvous, Induction (MBA++, MBA BT & MBA Exec), Workshops and Guest lectures. A wide range of seminars and workshops are conducted which incorporates best global practices based on daily feedback from various business leaders as well. Every young professional stepping into his or her career needs to take cognizance of these factors and develop a solid grounding in the domain theoretically, so as to apply solutions pragmatically, when required to do so.
The Seminar Cell conducts the following major activities :
INDUCTION
Induction is an activity that Seminar cell conducts for every new batch to orient them towards the college, course and campus. Its a foundation course for all new comers that consists of talks by the Head of department, faculty, alumnus, guest talks by industry stalwarts and stakeholders from society. This induction activity is conducted for new batches of MBA++(general), MBA BT, MBA Executive. Seminar cell also keeps an evening segment on few days of induction for ice breaking sessions in coordination with Cultural cell. Few speakers of last years Induction were Ms. Meeran Borwankar(ADG, Prisons), Mr. Sunil Puranik(Plant Director, Carraro India), Mr. L. M. Mahale(DGM Manufacturing, Godrej), Ms. Vrinda Parasnis(Persistent Technologies).
SEMINARS/GUEST TALKS
Pioneers carry with them a thousand words that go unexpressed. Seminars pave paths to embolden such words to steer the growing managers and to attain state of art information about various topics. They also facilitate and encourage delegates to exchange experiences, ideas and practices from their own companies thus enabling to broaden perspectives of an individual. Issues are addressed on a specific topic by iconic experts with the latest know how of the changing business world. Seminars not only serve a purpose of providing a great deal of practical information as well as provide a morale boost.
WORKSHOPS
Workshops enable delegates to engage in practical exercises and impart their expertise knowledge, subject matter expertise, practical experience in implementation, as well as the ability to simulate information and present in accordingly.
