Pumba Advantage
The Savitribai Phule Pune University is one of the most well-known universities in India. As the industrial development started in and around Pune, the corporate houses felt the need for well-educated management professionals in the city. The University was quick to understand this and started a management science department (PUMBA) to develop business leaders for the growing corporate sector in the city. It was the first management institute of Pune which started functioning in 1971.
But PUMBA has limited intake capacity per year and over the years, the demand for more seats arose. To meet this demand PUMBA gave approval to other colleges such as MIT School of Management, Sinhagad Institute of Management and many other colleges. These MBA colleges in Pune are affiliated to the Savitribai Phule Pune University and the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) and the admission process to these colleges is regulated by Directorate of Technical Education (DTE), Maharashtra, just like the admissions for PUMBA.
PUMBA has a unique curriculum and the MBA++ course which has a feature of dual specialization,
The first being the functional specialization:

The second being sector specific study in one of the following:
